API-Based Major Bank Connections
Connections to major banks in your client portal typically need to be validated every three months or whenever you update your password.
This can require you to spend time reestablishing your bank connection before you can manage your transactions.
Transitioning to new API-based data aggregation connections, will allow for a more sustainable connection.
Unlike traditional aggregation methods, APIs do not rely on your username and password for access. They're built in partnership with your financial institutions and create a secure and reliable channel for transporting financial data
Reconnecting via the new API, takes just a few steps to complete.

Establish Your Monthly Budget Quickly
If you haven't already set up a budget in your portal, now is the time to do it!
Budgets are forward looking so you won't be able to look back on the full year if you don't have it established now.
Now is the perfect time to establish one and it is easier then you might think.
Simply base your budget on your spending history and use the "Auto-Budget" utility. Don't have a lot of history established? No worries, start with what you have and make simple adjustments.

This is a space where you can safely and securely store the documents of significance in your life. What happens if you lose your driver's license or passport when you travel? It can remove the worry of finding your marriage license, deed to your house or title on your car. It is also the perfect place for a copy of your estate plan.
The Vault is your private place, but it can also be used to share documents with Financial Journey Partners as well as other partners you designate. You can have multiple folders to organize and ensure only the representatives you trust have access to what they need and allow you to productively work together.
In times of emergency it can also provide peace of mind to know you have access to what you need while you stay safe.

Locate Your 2022 Tax Documents in Your Personal Client Portal Vault
Tax time is here and so are your Fidelity tax documents. For your convenience your 2022 tax documents have been placed in your personal FJP Client Portal Vault.
A Few Reminders For You:
- Each individual will need to access their personal Client Portal Vault to obtain their own documents pertaining to their Social Security Number
- You can access your Fidelity account directly to reference the same tax documents
- We can assist you with providing access to your documents to your personal tax professional, with your permission
- If you are using TurboTax to import your tax documents, select Fidelity as the financial institution and use your Fidelity.com username and password, not your FJP Client Portal.
